
It wasn't until I had finished the painting that I saw how the warm tones of the granite of the mountain and the glow in the sky interlaced the silvery trees and the mirror-like reflection on the water. There is a palpable "stillness" in this painting; people have remarked that it looks Japanese.Included in first "Art in the Maine State Parks" exhibit and received Purchase Prize. |
