An Art Video is Coming!

I'm very excited to tell you about a new art video that was done in my studio this week that shows me painting an early morning interpretation of our iconic mountain, Katahdin. The video was done by the Australian TV company, "Colour in Your Life". CIYL is broadcast to millions of people on TV stations and online networks around the world. They have 11 millions views on Youtube and hundreds of thousands of followers on social media.

Wow! Now what to do!

Graeme Stevenson, the founder of CIYL and a master artist himself, started this company to give artists another option for promoting and selling their work, after witnessing the effects the Global Financial Crisis had on the art world. “Galleries were closing all over the place and at the same time, the internet was getting more powerful".

On Australia Day 2017, Graeme received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) “for service to the visual arts.” The award is one of the highest honours an Australian citizen can receive.

I am so pleased to now be part of the Colour in Your Life family! I must get busy at the easel!
